Market Days - The Yum-Yum Snack Shop & Cafe

MARKET DAYS

Market Day is a fun-filled, family event where local vendors and exhibitors come out and have a good time. We have musicians that showcase their talent and provide a relaxing festive mood.

Check out Facebook page for the most up to date news! The event is generally held during the middle of May.

To keep things fresh & interesting, instead of Market Day in 2017, we had “Bluegrass Saturday” featuring The Rusty Tuners, a knock-your-socks-off SC bluegrass band.  It was a very special time with super toe tapping music along with our yum-yummy food & drinks.

Our 2nd Annual “Fork Shoals Market Day” (May 16, 2015) was a record success!  Thanks to all who helped make it a day to remember in many ways for many people!

Many vendors & participants brought quality items and fun to this family event, and Gary Hart & the Hart Strings played amazing gospel music.  Here’s to encouraging & enjoying the spirit of community all year long!

What a great way to bring the community together…and showcase local talent!  The first annual Fork Shoals Market Day had lots to offer & discover! It was Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 9am – 2 pm!

Many were part of it – either as a vendor or as a browser!  There were old-timey games, and guitarist Tommy Hamrick jazzed up the day with his toe-tapping country music!
